Melaspas Ceremony; The Ritual of Blessings and Purification at Dancing Villas Nusa Dua

On Monday, 24th September 2018 marks the day of Melaspas ceremony at Dancing Villas Nusa Dua. Melaspas is Hindu ritual of blessings and purification of recently completed or newly reoccupied building. This ritual has become a tradition and must be performed in order to purify and eliminate any negative elements. The Melaspas took place in the whole area of Dancing Villas Nusa Dua by the Hindu holy priest called as Pedanda as well as all staffs of the Villa.
Colourful flowers, fruits, crafted offerings along with the scented burning incense sticks accompanied by the harmonious sound of the holy Genta signalled the prayers to start early in the morning, this ceremony is in coincide with Purnama sasih kapat (Full moon) day.
